Just a couple fun ones to add: the best coffee in Oxford (and some of the best I’ve had in the world!!) is the Colombian Coffee shop in the Covered Market. It will be impossible to miss because there will be a long line, especially in the morning and right after lunch. Across from that shop is a little cookie stand called Ben’s Cookies, which is incredible. If you want more of a no-fuss, inexpensive afternoon tea (vs the elegant high tea experience), The Nosebag on St. Michael’sSt. is delicious. Finally, for those who would enjoy a long , sometimes muddy walk through breathtaking British countryside, the Port Meadow walk is well worth it. You can stop along the way and enjoy a pint and food with a breathtaking view of the river at The Perch or the Trout.
